“The statewide ballot is officially certified for the March 19th primary election, and this now sets in motion the work that our county boards of elections need to do to prepare for the first ballots to go out to military and overseas voters in a little more than three weeks,” Secretary of State Frank LaRose (pictured above) said in a statement. “We’re anticipating that 2024 will be another year of record turnout and broad public engagement in Ohio’s elections, and we’ll be ready to defend our reputation as the gold standard of elections nationwide.”

Voter registration ends on February 20, with early voting beginning on February 21. The last day to request an absentee ballot is March 12.

The Ohio Republican Party is urging GOP voters in the Buckeye State to participate in the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) Bank Your Vote campaign, which provides voters with important voting information and assists voters with requesting a ballot online or by mail, registering to vote, checking their registration, finding their early voting location, and locating their polling place on Election Day.
